The movie shows the story of a man named Bharat after independence from 1947 to 2018. The film felt a little extra in terms of emotions, patriotism and the heroism that is seen in Salman Khan’s movies. The movie got released with much fanfare but met with moderate reviews from the fans. The movie has fewer action sequences maybe because Salman Khan was trying to focus more on acting this time. The movie had an opportunity for a blockbuster with a wonderful story of post-independence but the unnecessary songs and dances, cheap comedy and laughs squanders the opportunity.

The good part about the movie is its dialogues and storyline about the nation. The dialogues take the audience back to the time of post-independence and make the audience realize that how people are the same everywhere. The movie is all filmy where the separated ones get united and stuff. In a nutshell, people loving good story and songs should watch the movie and other liking critics in the movie should drop the idea.
