Meanwhile the director of the film ‘Ujda Chaman’ has also demanded a permanent stay from the court for the release of Bala. And according to the report, the makers of the film ‘Ujda Chaman’ who filed a case for developing a similar movie have withdrawn their case later. This news was confirmed when Vijan said, “charges against them by the maker of the movie Ujda Chaman has been dropped”.
Speaking about the similarity of the film ‘Bala’ and ‘Ujda Chaman’ Ayushmann revealed that, “Abhishek Pathak’s movie “Ujda Chaman” is an official remake of “Ondu Motteya Kathe” which is one among the popular Kannada film” He also added, “once his movie gets released on the big screen, the audience can realize themselves that the story of ‘Bala’ is completely different from Ujda Chaman and it’s original.”
Further adding the actor also said, “We shot the film first and also announced it first. And just one line from our film is similar to another one otherwise the whole film is completely different.”. Adding more to his saying, “he said that he has watched South Indian film (on which the story of ‘Ujda Chaman’ is based) and he feels that once the movie is released on the screens all the viewers can notice the difference between both the movies.”.
Ayushmann also revealed to the sources that how actually the story of Bala was made. “he got four different offers with the same subject, but he went with the best option and choose the best director as well as producer.” Ayushmann said. According to the actor, Amar Kaushik is one of the best directors while Dinesh Vijan is the best producer. And the concept of the movie Bala burned in the mind of Calcutta based writer named Pavil Bhattacharya which was later developed by Naren Bhatt. Both have done a fantastic job with the movie script and the film is completely different from the film (‘Ujda Chaman’), the actor also said, “the audience will realize the difference once they watch the movie on the screen.”
Further adding Ayushmann said, “Several films like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Woh Saat Din’, and many are also based on similar themes but at the time of those movie releases no one has filed a case and not a single movie has met with any of the controversies.”. “The same idea can burn in anybody’s mind and at the same time and maybe it can happen in the future too as someone else can also think of releasing the films based on baldness and love trials, but it simply doesn’t mean that those movies are copied, all the movies are original as it has some differences in them” Ayushmann concluded.
