Bollywood Stars to Attend Article 15 Premiere.


Discrimination against race, caste, religion, sex, place of birth, color still exists in Indian society. Article 15 in the Indian Constitution clearly states that no person will be discriminated against any of such social evils. Anubhav Sinha’s latest movie Article 15 is all about the class divide social issue that is created because of the inhumane nature of people against the backward lower caste especially in the rural parts of the country. Bollywood actor, Ayushman Khurrana is the lead actor in Anubhav Sinha’s latest directorial venture where for the first time in Bollywood Ayushman is donning an avatar of a cop and is playing a role of IPS officer, Ayan Ranjan. The movie is to be released in the box office on 28th June 2019. The day before the release of the movie was its premiere night where all Bollywood stars attended it. The special screening on the night before release saw Ayushman Khurrana along with his wife Tahira Kashyap and was also attended by Bollywood celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Sunil Shetty, Vicky Kaushal, Tabu, Maniesh Paul and many more. The Mohan sister, Shakti Mohan and Mukti Mohan were also present in the premiere night of Article 15. Anubhav Sinha, the director of Article 15 was witnessed to be very happy during the premiere of Article 15.

According to the Bollywood celebrities who attended the premiere of Article 15 said gushing that the movie is a super hit for them with the story, the concept and the performance of the star cast. Ayushman Khurrana during an interview recollects that an individual who belonged to a lower caste and was academically a topper could not reveal about his caste because of the social issues. Then during the admissions when the class knew about his caste, the revelation impacted the person deeply and he went into depression. At that time, Ayushman realized that discrimination is deep rooted in Indian society.

In addition to the lead actor Ayushman Khurrana, the film also stars other Bollywood actors like Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Manoj Pahwa, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat and many more.
