Hotstar Removed episode of KWK with Hardik Pandya

Hotstar is the online streaming partner of popular chat show Koffee With Karan which recently has its 12th episode with the two aforementioned Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul on January 6. The channel Star World which airs the show on television has removed all the teasers and photos of the episode from its official social media handles due to the harsh and misogynist comments of Hardik Pandya on the show.

The entire episode of Koffee With Karan (season 6) was more about Hardik boasting about his way with women. Both the duo Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul also hardly talked about the cricket in that episode. Due to their misogynist comments on the show both the Indian cricketers have been criticized on social media and they also miffed BCCI with their sexist remarks on the show.

Now if you wish to watch the cringe-worthy episode of Koffee with Karan you can not watch it anymore as Hotstar has pulled down that episode from there site. The episode was available till afternoon but in the evening Twitterati complained about the episode gone missing from the Hotstar. All the episodes of Koffee with Karan are available on the Hotstar except for one that featured Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul.

Comments made by Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul on the episode of Koffee with Karan [season 6] may hurt the sentiments of the viewers so the Star India who owns Hotstar has tweeted and replied their user query about the episode by saying that “As a responsible platform, we have removed the episode from Hotstar with an immediate effect.”. After that Hardik Pandya has Tweeted on his Twitter account on Wednesday and has apologized on his comments on the show and says that “After realizing my mistake which I have on made the show of Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologize to everyone whom I may have hurt in a direct or indirect way.”
