Lata Mangeshkar Death: Family Denied the News, Confirmed She is Recovering.


The 90-year-old music legend Lata Mangeshkar was hospitalized at South Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital in the wee hours of Monday, November 11. Family step to the hospital when she complained about breathlessness. Since Lata Mangeshkar was hospitalized rumors started doing the rounds of social media. As the report surfaced online of Lata Mangeshkar death: family denied the news, confirmed she is recovering. All the fans of Lata Ji got worried about her health and the updates about her health which was rumored on social media, it has created great chaos among them.

After the veteran singer complained about the difficulty in breathing family members rush to the hospital. However, rumors of her passing away made their way on social media and went viral in no time and many started putting up posts addressing the same rumor. Due to this rumor, many of the fans of the singer and her followers got worried about the same and showed their concern for the legendary Indian singer.

Meanwhile, the official spoken person from Lata Mangeshkar’s family has confirmed that the singer’s condition is now stable and she is recovering very soon. Madhur Bhandarkar the Bollywood director has confirmed the same statement officially and said that Lata Mangeshkar is and not to believe in any of the death rumors that are going viral.

To clarify the rumors, Lata Mangeshkar’s team also released the statement that Lata didi is now fine and progressing very speedily. They also requested all the fans of the singer to not give any vent to rumors and also thanked all of the fans to stand beside them.”

Rajeev Shukla former minister met Mangeshkar’s family and tweeted her health update on his social media account confirming that the singer’s death rumor is meaningless, she is on the path of recovery and she will recover very soon.

Many of the Bollywood celebrities like Hema Malini, Shabana Azmi, and many others took to their social media to pray for the speedy recovery of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Lata Mangeshkar began her career in 1942 and has recorded songs in over 36 Indian languages. She has turned 90 on September 28 and became a recipient of ‘Padma Bhushan’, ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Awards’, ‘Padma Vibhushan’, and ‘Bharat Ratna’. She bagged India’s highest civilian honor ‘Bharat Ratna’ during 2001.

During Mangeshkar’s seven-decade career, she has sung over 30,000 songs over 20 Indian languages. Mangeshkar is considered as one of the greatest playback singers all over Indian cinema. She is well known for many of the evergreen songs like “Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya”, “Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh”, and many others.

The last full Hindi album of Mangeshkar’s was for the late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s directorial film ‘Veer-Zaara’ in 2004. She is also known for many of the iconic songs like “Babul Pyare”, “Aye Mere Vatan Ke Logon”, among others.
