Raj Kumar Bharatiya Passed Away


The famous film producer Raj Kumar Barjatya passed away at Mumbai on Thursday morning. The 75-year-old producer was admitted in the city’s Sir H. N Reliance Foundation Hospital because he was suffering from the cardiac arrest. On Thursday morning Rajshri Productions has posted a tweet on the brand’s social media handle about Raj Kumar Barjatya’s demise. A well-known and respected name in the Bollywood industry Raj Kumar Barjatya was very well known for directing and producing many Bollywood hit films from the last five decades.

The Chairman of Rajshri Productions and father of director Sooraj Barjatya has given many Bollywood hit movies like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Vivah’, ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ and ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, and many others. The films, centered around the Indian joint family system, have all been box-office blockbusters. Many Bollywood celebrities took their social media account to show their condolences on the death of the producer.

Film critic and trade analyst Komal Nahta took his Twitter account to pay his condolences for the producer.

Film exhibitor and analyst, Akshay Rathi, also took his Twitter Account to express shock and grief on the death of the producer.

Taran Adarsh had also condolences on his Tweeter account check out his Tweet.

The beautiful actress Madhuri Dixit the leading lady in Barjatya’s ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, has taken her Tweeter account to condole on the death of the producer. She thanked Raj Kumar Bharatiya for inspiring and guiding her throughout the journey.

Actor Anupam Kher is currently in New York. He is shooting for the NBC TV show ‘New Amsterdam’ also shared the memory with the veteran producer and had given the condolences.

Raj Kumar Bharatiya production house Rajshri Productions is known for making large-scale entertaining and family films. His last production venture Hum Chaar recently hit the big screens on February 15, 2019. The movie Hum Chaar aimed to send a strong message of family values and ethics through the perspective of youngsters. Rajkumar Barjatya has contributed a lot in shaping up the Indian film industry and making us believe in larger-than-life characters will always be remembered.
