Shraddha Kapoor Has Been Taken in The Lead Role Opposite to Varun Dhawan in Remo D’souza’s Next Film

As Katrina Kaif has opted out of the next film of Remo D’souza by giving the reason of clashing of dates with her film “Bharat”, the team were considering many actresses’ name to be taken in the female lead. Finally, Shraddha has won the race and she is selected to be taken in the lead role opposite Varun Dhawan in Remo’s upcoming film. It has been officially announced by the Film Critic Taran Adarsh on social media followed by a twitter post:

Also, Varun has posted a picture of him with his to be co-star Shraddha and captioned as “Welcome home Chirkut!”. It is to note that Varun, Shraddha, and Remo, this trio has already worked together in film ABCD 2 released in the year 2015. This film was also a dance-based film starring Varun and Shraddha in lead role and Remo being the director. The upcoming film of Remo D’souza has been tentatively named as “Street Dancer”, hence being another dance-based film. The shooting of the film will start from Jan 22 in Punjab. Some part of the film will be shot in the United Kingdom and then back to India.

Being the part of the team of this upcoming film, a source has revealed that makers have also signed Nora Fatehi. Being a dance-based film, the filmmakers have made a great selection as they have chosen 3 of the best dancers of the industry. According to rumors, Shraddha will be seen as a National Dancer competing with Varun and his team of dancers, while Nora is signed for the role of being an International dancer competing with Shraddha and Varun. Also, the #3isComing mentioned in Varun’s post leads to the chances of the film being the next sequel of Remo D’souza’s film ABCD2.

After the news of being signed for this film, Shraddha has told the Mumbai Mirror that she is extremely happy about it. She thanked the producer Bhushan Kumar, to once again reunite their trio to work in this film. Also, she said that all of them are excited about the hard work to be done next.
