Sonchiriya Trailer : Sushant and Bhumi look fierce

Much awaited trailer of film “Sonchiriya”, directed by Abhishek Chaubey is out. After the release of a poster of the movie on social media handles of Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar, their fans were left in awe and excited seeing their new avatars as the Dacoits of Chambal. Sushant stated in his post that “गोलियों, बाग़ियों aur बैरियों ke शहर, चम्बल ki कहानी lekar aa raha #SonchiriyaTrailer kal!”

The movie is depicting the drama of the ’70s taking place in the ruthless valley of Chambal. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala under RSVP movies. The trailer is power-packed and interesting as it unveils Sushant Singh Rajput, Ashutosh Rana, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Bajpayee and Bhumi Pednekar in the film. Sushant, Manoj, and Ranvir are seen playing the role of Chambal’s Dacoits living in the valley and fighting with the government to regain control. Also, Sushant is seen discussing he is not afraid of death in the movie. Bhumi is seen as a fierce girl who can do anything to save her respect. While Ashutosh is seen as a police inspector trying to catch all the dacoits in the film. After years, he is seen again in a negative role which he can play effortlessly. The trailer of the film has created a lot of buzzes around. Having different concept from the movies releasing nearby it, this movie promises to bring new kind of drama among the viewers and having such an amazing star cast in the sack, the expectations of viewers have been raised.

It is to note that Abhishek has also directed the movies “Ishqiya” and “Udta Punjab” previously and have been appreciated for making the actors deliver amazing performances in both. The screenplay is by Sudip Sharma, and the music director is Vishal Bhardwaj. As Bhoomi has proved her acting talent in all her films, she was an obvious choice for the role but having the image of loverboy in Btown, Sushant has given an excellent and impressive performance in the shocking avatar of a dacoit. The film is all set to release on February 8.
