Student Of The Year 2 movie review

Karan Johar’s most awaited sequel Student Of The Year 2, recently hit the theatres on 10th May,19, and internet is already buzzing out.  The new batch featuring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria in it and directed by Punit Malhotra, has emerged as Tiger Shroff’s second highest opener so far and has has earned Rs 12.06 crore on very first day. Though box office collection saw a abrupt plunge on Monday as it earned Rs 5.5 crore. The movie received mingled positive & negative reviews from the film critics as well as moviegoers. According to trade pundit Taran Adarsh, Student of the year 2 made a fairly well collection of Rs 12.06 crore on its opening day.

Student of the year narrates about gyrating around the race to the Student Of The Year trophy, a superficial competition where girls only cheer from the sidelines while on the other hand the boys battle it out on to the field. Indeed, academics do not feature at all in determining who is the best student; all it takes is a sprint and a kabaddi match. Tiger Shroff as Rohan Sachdev, a brawny kabaddi champ from Pishorilal Chamandas College, follows his childhood sweetheart Tara Sutaria as Mridula Chawla (Mia) to the prestigious St Teresa’s College. When Rohan is rusticated, he returns to his old college and lead his team to victory in an inter-college cup against his former college. Meanwhile, Rohan gets off on the wrong foot with poor little rich girl Ananya Panday as Shreya Randhawa, who has a clinch to make his life miserable.
