The Super Six of Bhuj: the Pride of India


Among the trends of Sequels and Multi-Starrer films in Bollywood, T-series has decided to contribute to this trend by deciding a Multi-Starrer film, The Super six of Bhuj: The Pride of India to put under construction.

Ajay Devgan is confirmed to be the lead star in the film. While the film features Parineeti Chopra, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubati, And Ammy Virk in important roles too, it is going to be one of the most talked big-budget films of the year. The cast came into limelight with Parineeti, The “Kesari” actress sharing the first collage of the film cast on her Twitter account.

While Taran Adarsh had already announced Ajay playing the lead role of Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik in the film. The film is based on India Pakistan war, 1971 when the Airforce took support from civilian and Squadron Leader played a major role in the victory of our air force base located in Bhuj.

Parineeti is all set to play the role of femme fatale Heena Rehman and Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the role of a civilian Ranchordas Svabhai Ravari. Rana Daggubati will essay the role of Madras regiment Lt. Colonel while Sonakshi Sinha will be portraying the character of a social worker, Sunderben Jetha Madharparya. Ajay Devgan recently posted a picture of Vijay Karnik on his social media handle.

The producer from T-series, Bhushan Kumar told, “This courageous tale needs to be told because we want the current and the coming generation to know about this brave soldier, Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who played a significant role in India’s victory in the 1971 war. He was heroic enough to take this bold step of involving civilians in a war. Also, who better than Ajay Devgn for the role of Vijay Karnik? We are working with him currently in De De Pyaar De and Taanaji, and we are glad that he is on board for this film, too.” Also, he confirmed the rumors of Ajay playing the lead role and T-series producing the film on his social media handle.

Talking with Vijay Karnik himself, he showed his excitement by saying, “We were fighting a war and if there had been any casualties of any of these women, it would have been a great loss. But I took the decision and it worked out. I had briefed them where they could take shelter if attacked and they followed it bravely. Also, I could only see Ajay Devgn essaying my character and I’m glad that he’s on board.” The film is written and will be directed by Abhishek Dudhaiya.
