The rumors of Katrina Kaif opting out from the Varun Dhawan upcoming movie directed by Remo D’souza’ and Jacqueline & Shraddha Kapoor starring the lead have turned into being facts. By giving the reason of clashing of dates, the actress has once again proved her professional approach towards her job and has bowed out of the film.
As the film was starring two of the most sensational dancers from Bollywood, the Bollywood Bees and fans were not able to keep calm. However, led by the clashing of dates with film “Bharat” that Katrina has been shooting since a long time, she has denied the offer of working with Varun in Remo D’souza’s next big-budget Dance film. It is to note that Katrina has been busy with the hectic schedule of her next multi-starrer film “Bharat”, being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar starring Salman Khan. This film has been scheduled for release on 5th of June, 2019.
Hence the new names in the race of getting the lead role in the upcoming dance film of Remo D’souza are Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline, and Sara Ali Khan. Despite being a newcomer in the industry, Sara has successfully beaten Shraddha in the race. According to the grapevine, Sara has been favored the most by the team of the film itself. It is to notice that Sara has given 2 films this year being in the lead role of both. Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara starred film “Kedarnath” has been able to pay back the producers the invested amount. And the film “Simba” starring Ranveer Singh with her has become the sensation of 2018-19 and has entered 100 crore club already within five days of its release. Being the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and his ex-wife Amrita Singh, Sara has showcased her acting ability without using the name and fame of her parents.
The strong contender of Shraddha for this film, Sara has proven her acting talent with film Kedarnath and also have been praised for acting in film Simba. Assigning the lead role with Varun will bear the perk of introducing a new and fresh pair onscreen. As this will lead to a tremendous amount of buzz created about the film, the makers are definitely considering casting Sara in this Varun Dhawan upcoming movie. Said a source.
The first schedule of the film has been scheduled to start on 22nd of January in Amritsar. After which it will be continued in London till July and further will be shot in Mumbai. And November 2019 has been considered for the release.
