On Tuesday, June 18, 2019, Madame Tussauds unveiled the wax statue of the Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra Jonas. She completed her presence at famous wax museums across four different continents. The wax statue is styled to match the appearance of Priyanka Chopra Jonas at the 2017 Golden Globes. The figure of the actress stands out in an exquisite gold sequin gown designed by Ralph Lauren. The updated look of Priyanka includes the replica diamond engagement and wedding rings for her newly-wed status with Nick Jonas.

The wax statue of Priyanka has been chosen to place in the attraction’s party area at the Baker Street where the visitors to Madame Tussauds London can sip their drink of choice alongside Priyanka and the A-listers of her at Madame Tussauds bar. Priyanka Chopra who got married to Nick Jonas, an American singer and songwriter last year, was closely working with the team of Madame Tussauds on the epic four figure project since 2018 in a private sitting at the New York apartment of Priyanka.

Fans of Priyanka have been waiting to see the hotly-anticipated wax statue of her since the actress’s first figure was unveiled in Priyanka’s adopted hometown, New York this year. After unveiling the statue, the young actress says that she loves London because the place is live and full of energy and working with the team of Madame Tussauds was fun. She adds saying that it would be wonderful that her fans will now be able to meet her in one of her favorite cities of the world.

Steve Davis, the General Manager at Madame Tussauds London says that Priyanka Chopra Jonas was an obvious choice as the latest addition to the Madame Tussauds’ star-studded lineup. Apart from Priyanka being a screen star of Bollywood, she is also a passionate advocate of women’s issues and equality and is also a Unicef Goodwill Ambassador.
